Fees


Projects can be billed using Time and Materials or on a fixed fee basis depending upon the scope and and goals for the work.

Any project with well-defined tasks and goals can be quoted as a fixed-fee. Any additional tasks or change orders will result in an amendment to the initial fee structure.

Billing under Time and Materials requires a retainer (TBD) and monthly billing. Billing under a fixed-fee agreement requires a 20% deposit to begin and additional billing at each 20% towards completion.

Royalty agreements may be considered if desired by the client and agreed to by PEP on new product development projects when we forgo any fees and where we maintain ownership of the related Intellectual Property. A typical royalty under this scenario is a 5% rate for the first 3-years dropping to 3% rate for an additional 7-year period. Typically, if desired by the client, an IP purchase agreement, equal to royalties paid during the first 3-year period, is available. IP purchase agreements are open to negotiation.

All work is done under an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with a 3-year period of confidentiality.
